A weekend getaway

Last two weeks, we went to Melaka for husband's friend's wedding. It was unofficially Balqis' first makan angin with us as well. We started the road trip at around 5.30 o'clock in the morning. Yeahhh we woke up verrryyy early *yawn*. Balqis was being extra good, woke at 4am as well, and as if she knew she was going out that early, did not fall asleep back as always (her official wake up time is 7.30 am every day). We made a few stops and gather with other friends on our way to Melaka. We arrived in Melaka just about noon and went straight away to the wedding reception hall. Spent some quite a lot of time there (felt like attending a reunion instead) before we leave for Klebang Coconut Shake for a post-reunion hang out.

Sunshine's Birthday Present - a trip to Bukit Tinggi

Whenever I'm at home, my blogging activity would likely be limited sebab sibuk menghabiskan masa terluang dengan aktiviti2 lain yang x dpt d buat bile dah balik kampus. I like being at home so so so much!

Ok,I've been thinking what 2 buy for Nanim darling for her birthday pressie, but most things dlm wishlist die, die dah dpt on the 13th itself. isk. So i was thinking of bawak budak itu berjalan2 to somewhere. The night before our meetup with Nads, i texted Nads asking nak pegi mane je the next day, and so on tetiba terkeluar idea nak ke Melaka or Cameron or Bukit Tinggi. then asked mum, mum said no to Cameron, nak pegi Melaka or Bukit Tinggi ok. terus bgtau nanim that i'll bring her out of KL for our girls day out.

Next morning fetch her up, then decided to go to Bukit Tinggi since she hasn't been there yet. Pegi rumah Nads then kuar MRR2, then Bukit Tinggi we went!

First2 sampai terus menuju ke Japanese Village. Jalan2 pusing2 sampai terasa lapar. huhu. Baru sedar masing2 x breakfast lagi rupenye...

Bila dah lapar turun ke Colmar Tropicale untuk menglunchkan diri. There's a Vietnamese restaurant, L'Orient yang the food not bad. i like the tofu so much. nak try masak sendiri la nnt. haha. Wah..dari Japan ke France pastu makan kat Vietnam. haha.


then datang sekawan penyanyi yang berasal dari Filipina. boleh bertutur Bahasa Melayu sikit2. oh, one of them panggil kami 'sayang' yer. huhu. they asked what song, any song we would like them to sing and Anak by Freddie Aguilar crossed my mind secara tetiba. that is like my all time favourite sangat2. then yg sorang tu tanye nak version Tagalog or Malay (version Malay tu dinyanyikan oleh kumpulan Carefree). tp mesti la nak dgr original Tagalog version kan. hehe.

he said "saya cinta kamu". haha.

Colmar Tropicale

Pas dah penat bergambar berposing berchamwhoring, perjalanan diteruskan pulak ke Rabbit Farm. masa untuk belajar menjadi seorang ibu yang baik. hahaha. seronok bagi arnab makan. dukung. main kejar2 dgn arnab yang xnak ditangkap. hehehe.

dah balik tu, terus ke KLCC sebab konon nak shopping & jumpa Sha, tp x jumpe ape nk beli and Sha pun tetiba x jadi datang. so we proceed to have dinner dekat Kedai Young Tau Fu yg femes kat area Kampung Pandan. kedai ni dari zaman saya kecik2 sudah wujud. and sangat sedappppp. Oh, kami d join oleh Eda juga yang baru balik keje+training netball.


Terima kasih Nads and B for the wonderful outing, and Eda kerana join us for dinner. I likeeeee!!

after japan, lets fly to france!!

Colmar Tropicale is the unique French-themed attraction at Berjaya Hills. like the japanese village, it's the first of its kind in Malaysia. it is modeled after the 16th Century Colmar Village in Alsace, France and has retained the authenticity and European feel of its counterpart.

beside the beautiful castle-like buildings, the attraction of Colmar tropicale are the swan lake, bridge, wishing well and u may climb the viewing tower or spectacular view of the resort. there is also a picturesque cuckoo clock tower which was designed after the requewihr tower, france.

Rabbit Park

rabbit park is another attraction of bukit tinggi. the entrance fee to the rabbit park is rm3/person. free for child under 2. when u buy the entrance ticket at the counter, make sure u buy the rabbit feed at rm1.50/packet (which i heard last time was only rm1).

this is the open area for the rabbits. u can touch and play and feed the rabbits. there is another area for newborn rabbits, which are quarantine and u can't feed them.

nurin is riding a kudai (kuda+keldai)

i can't remember the white donkey's name that nurin rode, but i remember 2 of the donkeys name were simon & sofea. gile glamer name!!
beside rabbits and donkeys, there were also bangau, billy the goat and tortoise.
