Taiping Zoo, Ansari Famous Cendol and Mee Udang Mak Jah

We went to Taiping the last weekend before Ramadhan. Balqis had been asking us to bring her to hotel. She basically imagine to get to go to "hotel Terengganu" again because obviously she had so much fun when we were there. Primula Beach Resort, Kuala Terengganu has a fun slide and pool with views and a private beach for some sand play.

So anyway, since we obviously won't make a trip to Kuala Terengganu again in near future, we make a rather impromptu plan two days trip to Taiping as it is one of the nearest city and has some fun place for kids too.

We started our journey on Saturay morning to Taiping by car. The travel took around 40 minutes only from our home. We went straight to the Zoo Taiping as it was one of our main agenda for the trip.

Syawal's Jejak Tanah ceremony

Last week, cousin Angah invited me to attend her son, Syawal's Jejak Tanah ceremony. Angah has the Rawa (Rao) bloodline on his father's side. Syawal is my third nephew who did this jejak tanah thing according to the Rawa tradition after cousin Along's sons, Harris and Hadief.

And no, I don't have the Rawa blood in me. I just have the interest in people tradition and culture. Another ceremony that I wish to attend and watch is the Lenggang Perut. You know... the ceremony for the 7-months pregnant mother-to-be, er.. well I don't really know what they do. But I do mean Lenggang Perut, ok. Not that oh-so-modern baby shower thing. So if you or any of your family/friend is having your/her Lenggang Perut, please invite me ok. *buat muka tak malu sikit*

Agro Bazar @ RnR Ulu Bernam

When I was on my way back home from campus, i received an SMS from mum telling me to stop by at RnR Ulu Bernam (southbound) to buy her the famous Putu Perak. Me, myself has never tried the putu Perak. Mum said she read it in the newspaper about the Putu Perak. In case you’re travelling southbound and wanna give it a try, stop by RnR Ulu Bernam and look for Zie’s Taste.
  

Surprise visit to Manjung for Kak Farhah’s Birthday

Last Sunday, me with some friends went to Manjung, Perak to celebrate my dear Kak farhah’s birthday. I really want to surprise her as she, with my whole bunch of kakaks & abangs, did a surprise birthday celebration for me on my birthday last year. Plus, it has been a while since we met after she left USM and started working in Ipoh. So I planned the surprise visit with her husband, Ikmal.

We reached Manjung at around 3 o’clock and went straightaway to the Secret Recipe, as planned. But, Ikmal who supposed to bring Kakak at 3 pm arrived at 330 om with the birthday girl and her sister, Madihah. (Ikmal, memang nak kene nih!)

So anyways, no, we didn’t celebrate with all the balloons and birthday decorations. Just a simple lunch and hang-out session – changing stories, updating gossips – like we always do.

Then we went to Kak Farhah’s house for a while, to see Mama & do our prayers.

We headed back at around 6+ pm, but we didn’t just go back. Hehe. We stopped by Taiping for a dinner at the famous Doli Kuey Teow Goreng. Finally!!! XD

( Dear B, I promise next time we go to Doli TTDI together-gether k. You jgn la merajuk2 mengadu kat kawan I lagi tau. :P )

Alhamdulillah dpt jugak.

Then, we go back to campus, with happy mood happy hearts and happy stomach XD.

Manjung road trip to see baby Aryan

Ingat x cerita pasal Kak farhah yang selamat delivered a baby boy on 27th December lepas?

Oleh kerana masih belum melawat beliau, dan juga baby baru itu, saya telah ke Seri Manjung bersama 2 org kawan untuk melawat ibu baru itu serta anak lelaki beliau.

Ada gaya jadi ibu yang baik x? hehe Me, new baby and the baby’s mother, Kak Farhah Introducing… Muhammad Aryan Iman b. Mohd Ikmal!!

Otw balik dari rumah kakak di pertengahan jalan, kami men-decide untuk singgah ke Taiping dan dinner di Doli Kuey Teow Goreng sebagai ganti trip yang lepas x jadi singgah ;)

Dan dalam banyak2 orang la kat bandar Taiping tu.. boleh la pulak terserempak dengan mamat2 ni.. aisshhh. x cukup ke jumpe kat Parit Buntar ke Nibong Tebal jer… ;p

Rombongan sehari ke Manjung

Last Saturday, 10th of October me & friends went to Manjung for my big sistah, kak Farhah's raya open house. Gathered around 10+am and started our road trip from the campus. There were 3 cars with 13 of us. There's nothing much to tell as we arrived and straightly look for food. Kak Farhah's mum cooked soto for us. And Nasi Hujan Panas especially for moi. ;)

I asked kakak few days before that i wanted nasi hujan panas but she said they were going to prepare soto, and the night before she said she's going to cook nasi putih for me to have it kari daging (i'm not really a soto fan). but then, there were nasi hujan panas + ayam masak merah + kari daging. weeee! me love you,kakak & mama. :p

Day 1. Brown.

Parking Tanah Perkuburan Ampang. mane sempat blasah je tangkap gambar. hehh

Then, to mum's cousin's family house in Keramat.

To aunty's at Cheras. Beraya & berkumpul untuk beraya.

Day 2. Green.

Went to cousin Angah's future husband's house. Then went to few houses in Hulu Langat, Selangor. Saudara mara from atuk's side.

Plan asal malam sebelumnya.
Ke Serendah. then, Sungai Buaya. then mane2 la patut.

Sampai Serendah, auntie's house around noon.

Day 3. Pink.

Effa. Along. Sis Mala. Me. Sis Alice.

Masa lepak2 di Serendah, terkeluar plan utk ke Batu Gajah. rumah mak mertua cousin kak lina.
So plan ke 2. Pasni ke Sungai Buaya, pastu ke Batu Gajah.

Tgh siap2 nak balik, saudara mara dr Sungai Buaya sampai.

mostly di rumah membosankan diri sendiri. then later ajak my mum pergi taman sebab bosan. thankfully Nurin dah sampai KL dari Batu Gajah. nak bawak Harris, along malas nak turun KL balik takut jem. so, beraya ke 6 di Taman Tasik Perdana. hehe

Atuk's motorcycle yang dah rosak sikit2 dah di baikpulih. So akhirnya dapat menunggang motorsikal setelah rindu lame tak menunggang. yayyy~
Later that evening, went out with cousins for a karaoke session at BB and sushi madness for dinner. We were actually celebrating cousin Farah's birthday + cousin Effa's belated.

North Malaysia Trip. Day 3

Last episode of the North Malaysia Trip. hehe.

Pagi2, selepas bersiap & mensarapankan diri, keluar ke pekan Alor Setar buat kali terakhir untuk mengambil gambar di tempat2 yang x sempat nak disinggah (ayat ada berbunyi macam suh dtg lg x? ;p)

Sesudah sessi photography berjalan dengan lajunya, kami pun bergerak ke Pulau Pinang pula. Ni dah check out skali la ni. So keluar highway, naik feri, maka tibalah ke Pulau Pinang yg dah macam kampung sendiri ni sebab (almost) semua tempat dah sampai. haha

incik kura2 semasa pertama kali sampai ke pulau pinang. tangkap gambar berlatar -belakangkan Komtar ala2 gaya seorang pelancong. semasa menunggu yang lain2 bershoppin jeruk di Pasar Chowrasta. pasni incik kura2 pasti akan ke penang byk kali sampai naik bosan. ok, incik kura2 belom ada name. ade suggestion x?

kemudian kami ke rumah kelahiran P.Ramlee sbb 2 orang ibu saudara yang masih belum pernah ke sana, tp tutup ye pada hari Isnin. isk. so kami memproceed ke Padang Kota untuk mengisi perut.

dan alang2 dah di Padang Kota, saya dengan baik hatinya telah mencadangkan pada ahli rombongan supaya kami melawat Kota Cornwallis ini.

ini hanyalah lakonon semata2. tiada kaitan dengan yang hidup atau yang telah meninggal dunia.


dah lepas bergambar sakan yang x larat nak upload sebab banyak sangat, aktiviti seterusnya ialah berjalan kaki memusing2 area georgetown singgah segala kedai yang ada dan memuji2 keindahan bangunan2 lama yang cantik2 sehingga melayakkan Pulau Pinang tersenarai sebagai Tapak Warisan UNESCO.
dan akhirnya... tengok la ape yang saya dapati hasil berpusing2an itu. jangan jeles yer everybody, jeng jeng jeng.............


haha ok tipu je i didnt buy it for myself. diba wore nurin's and i wore diba's. haha nak gak rase pakai baju ben 10. gila!

ok setakat itu sahaja lah episod bercuti2 ke utara tanah air musim ini. sebab malam harinya ahli2 rombongan menaiki tren untuk pulang ke Kuala Lumpur tercinta.

sehingga berjumpa lagi pada musim-musim yang akan datang. byeeeeee~
(ni la masalah bile berangan nak masuk TV tp x berjaya ;p)
